Hey everyone — thanks for checking out my website and supporting the vision!

I’ve been part of this community for years, and I started Pokémanz On The Block with a mission: to make collecting Pokémon cards fun, exciting, and affordable again. I’ve been a fan since day one — back when there were only 151 Pokémon in the Pokédex and I was in middle school, trading cards at lunch like it was currency.

Fast forward to today, and the hobby has blown up — but so have the prices. Let’s be real: dropping $20 on a single booster pack just isn’t sustainable, especially if you’re trying to introduce your kids to the world of Pikachu and friends. A few packs can turn into a small fortune fast.

So I searched for a better way — and found it.

Japanese Pokémon cards. They’re generally more affordable, often better in quality than the English versions, and just as collectible. Thanks to all of your support, I’ve been able to expand and now offer a wider range of foreign-language Pokémon cards, including upcoming Korean sets to see what the community vibes with.
